AC Group has appointed Sydney-based company The Rose Collection to support its sales activity across Australia and New Zealand and formalising the group’s long-term investment in the region.
Since its inception in 1999, AC Group has evolved into a prominent destination management company (DMC), representing tourism providers across the UK, Ireland and France. The company boasts offices in London, Edinburgh, Paris, and Drogheda.
Based in Sydney, The Rose Collection connects a portfolio of properties and destination management companies with its network of industry leaders.
Led by managing director Fiona Rose, the agency brings longstanding relationships across the Australia and New Zealand travel trade.
AC Group CEO Rob Russell said that a deeper connection with the ANZ market has been on the cards since 2018.
“Australia and New Zealand have been part of our long-term plans for some time and are markets we’ve admired for many years. We saw a strong fit early on, which is why we made our first visit in 2018 and have continued to invest time in building relationships there since.
“Fiona’s knowledge of the region and the strength of her network made this feel like a very natural next step for us, and we’re excited to build on the momentum already in place,” he said.
Rose described her recent experience of AC Group’s services in London, the Cotswolds and Bath as a wonderful introduction to a team that has worked closely with a number of The Rose Collection’s hotels.
“It’s a partnership that will further strengthen our industry relationships here in Australia and New Zealand, and we’re delighted to welcome AC Group into our portfolio,” she said.
