TravelManagers’ Rose Febo and Sharon Ward were thrilled to join a recent famil of Northern France, hosted by Back-Roads Touring.

Febo and Ward, who are TravelManagers’ representatives for Wynnum, QLD, and Deep Bay, TAS, respectively, were among eight Australian travel advisors who participated in the famil, along with seven others from around the world, and were accompanied by Backroads’ USA-based National Business Development Manager, Kristina Zito.

The group’s itinerary began with a short journey from Paris to the town of Giverny, where they had time to explore the house and gardens once the home of and inspiration for Claude Monet, before heading to the Normandy port town of Honfleur. From here they followed the Cider Route toward the village of Beuvron-en-Auge.

Win a $100 gift card from Riviera Cruises

Travel agents are invited to follow Riviera Travel River Cruises’ new Australasian Facebook page to go in the running for a $100 Visa gift card.

But get in quick! When the brand new Facebook page reaches 100 members, one lucky travel agent from Australia or New Zealand following the page will be randomly selected to win the gift card.

Riviera Travel’s Australasian Facebook page has been launched to keep Australasian and NZ agents updated on the cruise line’s European river cruises.

Hedging her bets just in case she didn’t get to see a real bear before embarking on a Holland America tour, MTA – Mobile Travel Agents’ Sarah Manning made sure to be photographed with the next best thing – a statue of a grizzly bear – while visiting Anchorage.

Mannily did, however, get to see four bears along with moose, caribou, eagles, Dall sheep and Arctic ground squirrels while visiting Denali National Park, Alaska on the 12-day ‘Yukon & Double Denali land and sea journey’.

Departing from Vancouver, her program also included Juneau, Skagway, White Horse, Dawson and Fairbanks.
