Friday night Air Canada, Destination Canada and Destination British Columbia banded together to celebrate Canada day!

Over 200 travel industry partners, agents and suppliers were in attendance at Ovolo Woolloomooloo.

The night was an interactive bonanza with Great White North-themed games like spin the wheel, a snowy photobooth, destination knowledge tests, and a virtual hockey simulator.

Guests were greeted with a Canadian Caesar cocktail upon arrival, canapés, and an unsurprisingly popular make-your-own poutine stand.

There were some pretty epic prizes on giveaway:

The runner up got got two return economy class tickets to Canada, with seven days of accommodation and activities.

The MAJOR draw prize won two Signature (Business) Class tickets with eight nights accommodation at multiple Fairmont properties, plus activities including!

The audience enjoyed learning about Air Canada’s easy and seamless transit process at Vancouver airport.

Best of all, the event was held on the 1st of July – the day that most airlines cut their commission but Air Canada did not!
