Air Tahiti Nui is pleased to announce the appointment of Philippe Marie as its new CEO.
With a demonstrated understanding of French Polynesia and a strong track record in the aerospace, financial, and legal sectors, Marie is poised to steer the airline toward new opportunities and advancements from its Papeete headquarters.
Marie previously served as Secretary General of Air Tahiti Nui from 2004 to 2007. Most recently, he completed a distinguished tenure as President of MARARA Paiement, a Tahitian financial institution, where he advanced financial technology and modernized payment solutions in The Islands of Tahiti.
He also spent fourteen years as deputy general manager of Banque de Tahiti, showcasing his strategic management skills, followed by a three-year tenure as Technical Advisor on Financial and Economic Matters with the Government of French Polynesia, developing local laws and financial frameworks.
“We are thrilled to welcome Mr. Marie back to the Air Tahiti Nui team,” Air Tahiti Nui VP (Americas) Caroline Borawski said.
“His deep-rooted knowledge of the Islands of Tahiti and his airline industry expertise are invaluable to us as we look to solidify our stronghold as a leading carrier in the competitive Pacific region.”
Marie’s extensive knowledge of the destination is set to both enhance the airline’s operational integrity and compliance and build upon the strong foundation that Air Tahiti Nui has established with its partners.
