The Super Bowl ad features a group of diverse individuals with text reading: “We believe no matter who you are, where you’re from, who you love or who you worship, we all belong. The world is more beautiful the more you accept.”
The New York Times reports, Airbnb used the ad to call for greater acceptance among its community and will launch a campaign to provide short-term housing for 100,000 people in need over the next five years.
The company has also committed to donate US$4 million over the next four years to the International Rescue Committee, the paper reports.
The ad comes after POTUS Trump signed an executive order to temporarily ban citizens from 7 countries entering the United States, causing mass outrage across the world.
