A new ‘Only Adult’ area consisting of 102 seats will be available on the airline’s A350 flights.

Many people don’t like to admit it, but sitting near a crying baby on a plane can make flights feel a lot longer.

With that in mind, European airline Corendon is launching a cabin zone where children are banned.

Sitting near a wailing toddler doesn’t make for a particularly enjoyable flight.

With this in mind, airline Corendon is launching a zone where children are banned, launching from November 3 this year.

The adult’s only section won’t be XXX, but the seats will be XL, with extra legroom.

The airline told media the children will be physically separated from the adults only zone by walls and curtains, creating a “shielded environment that contributes to a calm and relaxed flight.”

Adult seats can be booked by anyone over 16 and costs around A$74 for a standard seat, and A$165 for the XL zone.

“This zone in the aircraft is intended for passengers travelling without children and for business travellers who want to work in a quiet environment.

“At the same time, the introduction of the Only Adult zone also has a positive effect for parents with children. They don’t have to worry as much about possible reactions from fellow passengers if their child is a bit busier or cries,” Atilay Uslu, founder of Corendon, said.
