Whoever runs Ryanair’s Twitter page was our saving grace during the US election, easing the stress of awaiting the results by roasting the absolute hell out of Donald Trump.

The cheeky airline began firing shots at the outgoing President of the US before the results were even called.

As voting kicked off, Ryanair also posted a photo of Trump and his wife Melania casting their ballots.

And when Trump declared an early victory, the airline was quick to react.

While most commenters took the opportunity to demand refunds from Ryanair, some fired a few quips of their own.

Trump wasn’t the only presidential hopeful the airline took aim at, with Kanye also getting a shout-out.

Even Trump’s son, Eric Trump, wasn’t safe.

Travel Weekly‘s personal favourite tweet was in reference to the infamous Four Seasons landscaping incident.

It’s not the first time Ryanair has tried its hand at humour on the social media platform, scattering a few jokes amongst its usual promotional tweets.
