PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport is targeting senior travellers with a new value-driven accommodation and dining package designed to make airport stays more affordable and accessible.

The only hotel with direct access to Melbourne Airport, PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport has introduced a dedicated Seniors Offering, offering a 15 per cent discount for the best available room rate across all room types and suites for eligible card holders. The lead-in rate starts from $289 per room per night.

Available to holders of a valid Victorian Seniors Card, Seniors Business Discount Card and Carers Card, the offer also includes complimentary Wi-Fi and access to accessible rooms upon request, providing added flexibility and comfort for mature travellers transiting through the airport.

Dining savings are also part of the appeal. Seniors can enjoy 10 per cent off food and beverage at the hotel’s runway-facing restaurant, Airo. Open for lunch from 12pm to 2pm and dinner from 6pm, Airo serves a blend of Asian and Modern Australian cuisine, with sweeping views of aircraft movements – a drawcard for aviation enthusiasts and those looking to relax before or after a flight. A minimum spend of $25 per person applies.

Beyond the price incentive, the hotel is doubling down on service and accessibility. The team can assist with luggage on request, while guests can pre-book or arrange same-day support through Melbourne Airport Assist, the airport’s complimentary mobility service designed to help passengers navigate terminals and car parks with ease.

Directly connected to the terminals via an undercover skybridge, the property offers seniors peace of mind just steps from departure gates – an increasingly attractive proposition for older travellers seeking to minimise stress and transit time.

In 2025, the hotel earned Accessible Tourism Accreditation, underscoring its commitment to inclusive travel and seamless guest experiences for those with accessibility needs. The recognition complements the hotel’s accessible room inventory, modern amenities and personalised service ethos.
