Abercrombie & Kent Travel Group (AKTG) has announced that Sara Puglia will join its expanding team as sales director, Cox & Kings.

Cox & Kings was acquired by the group in 2020 and is the world’s longest-established travel company, with roots dating back to 1758.

Puglia brings longstanding relationships across the luxury and premium leisure industry, having worked as sales development manager for Scenic Luxury Tours and Cruises, and account manager at Booking.com.

Most recently, Puglia worked as manager key accounts and sales enablement AUNZ at Silversea Cruises where she managed a portfolio of key national accounts to drive the company’s strategic growth across the luxury travel sector.

She also spent a decade with the Fight Centre Travel Group in both retail and wholesale. Puglia has a proven track record of sales success, industry recognition and accolades and is known for her integrity, positive impact and trusted reputation.

Her appointment comes as Cox & Kings expands its global footprint, with Australia among the pivotal new markets for launch.

VP of sales and partnerships APAC, Susan Haberle said that Puglia will play a major role in the company’s future.

“We are thrilled to welcome Sara to our experienced AU/NZ team. Her arrival comes at a particularly exciting time, with the imminent launch of Cox & Kings next month – a milestone she will play a pivotal role in shaping,” she said.

On a recent LinkedIn post, Puglia shared her gratitude to trade partners across Australia and New Zealand.

“As I step into my new role very soon, I’m energised by this extraordinary new opportunity to continue building strong industry connections and drive impact at a larger scale. I’m looking forward to sharing more very soon,” she wrote.
