Albatross Tours has released two new summer 2026 tours featuring brand new exciting locations including Macedonia, Serbia, Bulgaria and Romania, which are added to its existing summer program.
“These are countries and locations our tours have never set foot in before, so we are absolutely thrilled to be extending our range into these regions and believe with our longer stays, travellers will truly be able to absorb the best of what these places have to offer,” Albatross Tours managing director, Shelley Poten, said.
On these new tours, clients can spend 19 days exploring lands rich in history, culture and colour as they discover the alluring Balkans, visiting Europe’s Oldest human settlement in Serbia, visiting bear sanctuaries and enjoying a private tour and dining experience in Transylvania in Dracula’s castle, and viewing a private special Sound and Light Show illuminated on the Fortress Hill of Veliko Tarnovo in Bulgaria.
Guests can also spend 18 days exploring chasms, mountains, blue lakes and temples travelling from Bulgaria through to Macedonia and Greece, visiting 1,000-year-old monasteries, staying 3 nights in a multi-award-winning mountain eco lodge within UNESCO-listed Zagori, and exploring ancient Greek ruins.
“We have been listening to our customers and creating innovative itineraries to new destinations where they want to experience the unique tour design that Albatross is known for,” Poten added. “We have received a very high level of interest already in these limited-edition departures, so pre-registration is highly advisable to avoid missing out!”
