Perth Airport (PER), an international, domestic, and general aviation airport, is the fourth busiest in the country and is located just 10km east of the Perth central business district.

- Valet parking. Travellers can take advantage of the quickest and most convenient parking option at Perth Airport.

Departure procedures
The departure procedures at Perth Airport are fairly simple as it is smaller in comparison to mega airports like Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne. There are clear signages and helpful staff to guide travellers through the check-in, security screening, and boarding procedures.
Arrival procedures
Arriving at Perth Airport is similar to any other airport as travellers must adhere to customs and declare necessary items on their incoming passenger card. Smart Gate systems allow travellers with eligible passports to pass through more conveniently. Lastly, baggage claimed will also be subject to inspection by the Australian Border Force and the Department of Agriculture.

Facilities at Perth Airport
- Free Wi-Fi. Perth Airport offers free Wi-Fi throughout all four terminals.
- Baggage storage. Travellers with long layovers can store their baggage at the baggage storage areas to move around the terminal more freely.
- Airport lounges. The airport offers a good range of lounges for airline members such as the Qantas International Transit Lounge and Domestic Business Lounge.
- Waiting areas. Non-members can still sit back and relax at the comfortable waiting areas outside each gate. The public areas have long seats without armrests so they can be used for a quick nap.
- Sleeping pods. Travellers that need more comfortable sleeping arrangements can take advantage of the sleeping pods at terminal 1.
- Gastronomy. There are various dining options at each terminal for quick bites or complete meals.
Tourist Refund Scheme (TRS)
Visitors to the country can claim a refund on goods and services tax (GST) and wine equilisation tax (WET) that they have paid on certain good during their stay. It is open to all overseas travellers and Australian residents. There are certain conditions to claim the refund:

New terminal opening in 2031
Perth Airport partnered with DXC Technology as Master Systems Integrator (MSI) for a new terminal in development, a key milestone in the airport’s multi-billion-dollar investment to transform its infrastructure. Key details of the partnership:
- The new terminal facilities, scheduled to open in 2031, will bring all commercial airline operations into a single central location to improve efficiency and enhance the passenger journey.
- DXC will manage the design, integration, testing and commissioning of more than 70 information technology and operational systems that will support the new terminal facilities in addition to ensuring they work together to deliver a connected and smooth passenger experience.
- DXC will also oversee interoperability of the systems used by key airport stakeholders, including airlines, ground handlers, retailers, and government agencies.
