The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has been connecting with travellers, partners, and storytellers — building momentum for unforgettable journeys and celebrating the spirit of Amazing Thailand.

Their aim: to build bridges, spark wonder, and keep the spirit of travel alive, together.

Wellness Tourism Summit | Byron Bay, 4-5 September

TAT lit up the Thai wellness scene at the Wellness Tourism Summit in the beautiful Elements of Byron. At the Amazing Thailand booth — co-hosted with RAKxa Integrative Wellness, a world-class sanctuary in Bangkok’s “Green Lung”, and RXV Wellness Village — they spotlighted Thailand’s enduring leadership in global wellness travel. From lush landscapes and time-honoured healing traditions to heartfelt hospitality, they reminded attendees why Thailand is more than a destination—it’s a transformative experience.

Jurassic Paradise Famil Trip |Krabi 8-12 September

Hosted by Minor Group and TAT, four media guests—News, Grin Creative, LJ Waters, and Rosamund Brennan—embarked on a cinematic adventure through southern Thailand (Krabi). Exploring the dramatic filming locations of Jurassic World: Rebirth, they discovered towering limestone cliffs, emerald jungles, and untouched coastlines that rival the big screen in beauty and scale.

Thailand Golf Travel Mart |Khao Yai, 13-19 September

Marketing officer Passawan welcomed four Australian golf agents—Golf Corner, Go Golfing, Prestige Golf Tours, and Golf Tourism Australia—alongside Inside Golf Magazine to the B2B Thailand Golf Travel Mart. Held in the scenic highlands of Khao Yai, the event fostered new partnerships and showcased Thailand’s world-class golf offerings. The group also explored the cultural richness of Bangkok and historic charm of Ayutthaya.

Wellness Luxe Media Trip |Bangkok, 8-13 September

TAT hosted a curated group of media and agents including Holidays for Couples, MiNDFOOD, Spencer Wellness Travel, and Destination HQ. Their immersive journey through Thai healing traditions offered a firsthand taste of the serenity, sophistication, and soul that define Thailand’s wellness experiences.

Destination: Sathorn vs. Silom (Bangkok)

These two areas may be neighbours, but when it comes to rooftop bars, dining, shopping and stays, Sathorn and Silom offer two distinct flavours of Bangkok. Sathorn leans into the luxe and laid-back, with elegant rooftop spots like Vertigo & Moon Bar at Banyan Tree Bangkok, riverside dining, and wellness escapes such as The Sukhothai Bangkok and Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn. It’s ideal for travellers seeking refined experiences with a touch of serenity. Silom, on the other hand, is all about energy and variety—think buzzing night markets, street eats, and rooftop bars like Sky Bar at Lebua, perched atop the iconic Tower Club at Lebua. For shopping, Silom delivers everything from local boutiques to lively stalls at Patpong Night Market, while hotels like Pullman Bangkok Hotel G and Holiday Inn Bangkok Silom keep guests close to the action. Whether your clients are after sleek sophistication or vibrant street culture, both areas deliver — just in different ways.

Product:  COMO Metropolitan Bangkok

COMO Metropolitan Bangkok reopens on 1 October 2025 following a major refurbishment — refreshed, reimagined, and ready to reclaim its place as Bangkok’s iconic urban escape. Located in the heart of the Sathorn business district, the hotel now features sleek new design and effortless access to BTS Skytrain and MRT stations, making it a breeze to reach shopping, nightlife and cultural attractions. Its location offers the best of both worlds: close to the action yet tucked away from the city’s busiest congestion for a sense of calm and convenience.

Guests can indulge at Nahm, the hotel’s signature Thai restaurant and proud recipient of a Michelin star or unwind at COMO Shambhala Urban Escape—a state-of-the-art wellness sanctuary featuring multiple treatment rooms, steam rooms, hydro pools, a yoga studio and an outdoor lap pool. Complimentary yoga sessions and in-room yoga mats with meditation videos add a thoughtful touch to every stay.

To celebrate the reopening, COMO is offering exclusive specials for bookings made by 30 November, valid for stays until 15 December 2025.
