American Cruise Lines has offered up to US$2,000 (around AU$3,140) savings per couple on dozens of sailings across the USA when booked by 15 May 2025.
Available through Australian small ship cruise specialist, Cruise Traveller, the savings include cruises on the iconic Mississippi River and also upstate New York State’s Hudson River which showcases some of the most spectacular autumn colours in the world.
One of the selected 2025 sailings on which extensive savings are available is a seven-night cruise on the Hudson River during the height of America’s Fall season on 29 October 2025. The journey starts in the capital of the State of New York, Albany, where guests board American Cruise Lines’ 100-guest coastal catamaran, American Eagle, launched in 2023 and featuring a fine dining restaurant, cafe, two lounges, spacious sun deck, gym and study.
The journey downstream aboard American Eagle allows guests to revel in the magnificent reds, oranges and golds of autumn foliage, with the itinerary taking in the beautiful Catskills Mountains, the Taconic and Berkshire Hills, the charming towns of Sleepy Hollow and Hyde Park, and the huge and famous West Point Military Reservation.
The cruise includes complimentary excursions to prime foliage spots as well as the grand Vanderbilt Mansion and the historic home of former US President Franklin D. Roosevelt – both near Hyde Park – and a tour of the West Point US Military Academy.
Including complimentary, onboard beverages, excursions and gratuities, the Hudson River Fall Foliage Cruise on 29 October 2025, is available from US$6,680 (around AU$10,485) per person, twin-share, in a river-view stateroom – a saving of US$750 (around AU$1,177).
