Amora Hotels & Resorts announced the appointment of two seasons hospitality professionals to lead key properties in Brisbane and Melbourne.

Rob Unson has been appointed general manager of Amora Hotel Brisbane, bringing his wealth of expertise to this new role. His career began in 1994 at the Ritz-Carlton New York, and for 30 years he has taken on notable management roles at leading hotel chains.

He has continuously elevated guest experiences and operational standards in his previous roles. Unson was previously the hjotel general manager at TFE Hotels where he led The Calile Hotel Brisbane to achieve worldwide recognition and accolades.

“After six months following the renovation and opening of Amora Brisbane, the market’s response has been very strong and I am looking forward to establishing the hotel as the top five-star business hotel in Brisbane as the brand strengthens its reputation across the country,” Unson said.

Rahul Dangwal assumes the role of hotel manager at the Amora Hotel Riverwalk Melbourne. He brings more than 14 years of hospitality experience to the role, having held senior management roles with companies such as Standford Hotels and Resorts, TFE Hotels, and Accor’s Art Series brand.

His vision for the hotel includes overseeing a significant expansion project aimed at enhancing the hotel’s offerings and maintaining its reputation as a premier destination in Melbourne.

“We are confident that Rob and Rahul will both play pivotal roles in driving our hotels forward,” owner and director of Amora Hotels & Resorts, Earp Siriphatrawan, said.

“Their combined expertise and dedication to excellence will further strengthen Amora Hotels & Resorts’ commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality.”
