Journey Beyond has celebrated its annual showcase at Bennelong restaurant at the Sydney Opera House, highlighting what’s to come this year and beyond.
‘Are You Ready to Journey Beyond’, the theme of the 2026, opened with a special Welcome to Country from Aunty Margret Campbell, while CEO Chris Tallent welcomed guests, sharing how 2025 was a transformative year for Journey Beyond.
“Our portfolio grew from 16 to 20 brands with the announcement of five remarkable experiences: Monarto Safari Resort, Grand Pacific Tours, Exmouth Dive & Whaleshark Ningaloo, Sailaway Port Douglas, and Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia,” he said.
“This momentum has energised our entire organisation. The future is bright, and we’re boldly committed to standing here in two years’ time, celebrating something extraordinary, with annual revenue approaching $1 billion.”

Alicia Triggs announced a major $30 million investment to elevate the guest experience at Cruise Whitsundays, alongside our continued partnership with globally renowned design studio Woods Bagot to deliver a $5 million interior transformation of our much-loved Platinum sleeper cabins onboard our iconic trains.
The vent also delved into the evolution of The Ghan’s new northbound journey, a new four-day adventure, giving travellers more time to slow down, connect to Country, and immerse themselves in the heart of Outback South Australia.
The expanded itinerary now features a signature dinner in South Australia’s celebrated Clare Valley wine region, where guests are welcomed with the flavours and stories that define this remarkable place.
