Mondrian Gold Coast has announced a landmark partnership with Platinum Business Aviation Centre, launching Australia and New Zealand’s first luxury branded private aviation lounge.
Located within Platinum’s private aviation terminal at Gold Coast Airport, the Mondrian Lounge at Platinum is set to elevate travellers’ pre-flight experience.
The collaboration marks the first of its kind between a luxury hotel brand and a fixed-base operator in the region, bringing hotel-level design, service and atmosphere to the private aviation journey.
The Mondrian Lounge is set to become a key arrival and departure point for VIP travellers, charter guests, aircraft owners and international visitors to the Gold Coast.
General manager of Platinum Business Aviation Centre Joe Stenning said the collaboration sets a new benchmark for private aviation facilities in the region, reinforcing the Gold Coast’s growth as a premium international hub.
“By partnering with Mondrian Gold Coast, we are bringing together world‑class aviation services and world-renowned luxury hospitality to create something truly unique for our guests,” he said

The new lounge will feature:
- A hotel‑inspired space designed in collaboration with Mondrian Gold Coast
- A private, calm area for passengers and crew before departure or after arrival
- A hospitality experience aligned with the standards of a world‑class luxury hotel
Co-managing partner of Vitale Property Group and co-owner of Mondrian Gold Coast Letitia Vitale said the collaboration aligns naturally with the hotel’s philosophy.
