Through a series of nationwide workshops, APT and Travelmarvel will showcase to travel agents how they can build on regular F.I.T. group bookings by using their inclusive cruise packages as an opportunity to engage with local membership and community-based organisations looking to host a group departure.

To showcase the new groups offering and assist travel agents as to how they can grow their groups business APT and Travelmarvel are running a nationwide series of workshops around Australia.

Heading up the new groups business offering across both brands, APT and Travelmarvel’s channel strategy manager Damian Borg said, “Cruising is one of the fastest growing areas for group travel and since we set up our specialised department over ten years ago we’ve seen our business triple in size.”

“We operate some of the most highly regarded river ships and small ocean cruise ships in the world. As such travel agents are assured of the highest quality travel experience, exceptional customer service and a high level of repeat bookings.”

The events are free of charge to attend and locations and dates, with registration available here, and are as follows:

  • 4th August – Sydney, Harbourview North Sydney
  • 5th August – Sydney, Novotel Parramatta
  • 6th August – Brisbane, Pacific Golf Club at Carindale
  • 12th August – Melbourne, Rydges CBD (Exhibition Street)
  • 13th August – Melbourne, Novotel Glen Waverley
  • 1st September – Adelaide, Stamford Plaza
  • 2nd September – Perth, Crown Plaza
