APT Travel Group has achieved a historic milestone, recording its largest ever sales in the company’s history with three of its highest four sales days on record propelling a record-breaking October.
This exceptional performance underscores 2025 as a defining year for APT Travel Group after years of hard work through Covid and strategic investments in new ships in Europe, Vietnam and now Egypt, lodge upgrades in the Kimberley and accelerated partnerships throughout the globe.
Key destinations driving this success include:
- Europe – APT & Travelmarvel: Classic European journeys remain a cornerstone of APT Travel Group’s success leading the market with a fleet of new ships, travellers are drawn to expertly curated itineraries that combine iconic sights with unique, immersive experiences. Early spring departures are particularly popular, including the Captains Choice Turkey journey commemorating Anzac Day, as well as early summer river cruises across France, Germany, and the Netherlands.
- Small Group tours – The recent launch of Travelmarvel small group tours adding to the existing APT small group tours, has driven significant demand. Across destinations such as Canada, NZ, Europe and Asia we are adding another high-demand way to experience these destinations.
- Egypt – Travelmarvel’s new product: The best value premium product in Egypt, the newly launched Egypt itineraries have generated significant interest, offering travellers an elevated exploration of ancient wonders, luxury Nile cruises, and exclusive access to cultural experiences with a seamless journey and charter flights included. Travelmarvel’s Egypt itinerary is the only mainstream program including visit to abu simbel and has quickly become a standout destination, appealing to travellers seeking both adventure and refinement.
Niche brands within the APT Travel Group family:
- Antarctica Flights: Interest in Antarctica Flights is surging ahead of the 2025-26 season, reflecting a renewed appetite for once-in-a-lifetime polar experiences. Limited availability is driving urgency, with fewer than 40 seats remaining across the two New Year’s Eve flights. These exclusive journeys cater to travellers seeking unparalleled adventure and luxury in one of the world’s most remote destinations.
- Botanica: The spring Japan charter cruises continue to be the most popular offering this month, combining cultural immersion with luxury travel. Guests are drawn to the curated itineraries that explore Japan and South Korea’s coastal regions, blending scenic landscapes, local culinary experiences, and enriching cultural insights.
- Captains Choice: Early Spring European departures are performing strongly, particularly the Turkey journey that commemorates Anzac Day. Travellers are embracing the unique combination of historical significance, immersive cultural experiences, and bespoke luxury accommodation that Captains Choice provides. Other European itineraries, including early-season river cruises, are also seeing robust bookings.
“This record-breaking period reflects the strength, innovation, and expertise of the APT Travel Group and the years of hard work the team has put in, and the strong relationships we have with our Trade partners,” APT Travel Group CEO David Cox said.
“It is very pleasing to see the areas where the business has made significant investments, new ships in Europe, Vietnam and now Egypt plus significant investment in upgrading our Kimberely lodges and our new partnerships with Seabourn and Heritage Expeditions is fuelling our growth.”
Contributing to this performance is Travelmarvel’s rebrand and return to television, with the Travemarvel campaign launching on 8 October marking the brand’s first TV presence in over two years.
