APT Travel Group has announced an extension of its suspension on all international trips up until the end of March.
The company posted on its website last week informing travellers and agents that all international touring and cruising, except for New Zealand, would be suspended until at least 31 March 2021.
“The APT Travel Group thanks all our travellers for their patience and support during this very difficult time,” the company said.
“The safety and wellbeing of our guests and employees continues to be our highest concern, and we are working hard to ensure the best outcomes for all.”
A future holiday credit equal to the full amount paid on the booking is being offered to all suspended tours and cruises. This includes APT absorbing any applicable third-party fees (some airline fees may apply though).
the credit is valid for travel with any of the group’s brands up to the end of 2022, and can be used for multiple bookings and can be transferred to another person. However, it is not redeemable for cash.
APT Travel Group is still running domestic tours, with its first COVID-19 era trip taking place in Queensland with a whopping 58 guests.
