APT Travel Group has launched its Australia and New Zealand VIP events, kicking off in Melbourne, the first of six exclusive events bringing together some of the travel industry’s top performers.

APT Travel Group’s chief sales officer Scott Ellis hosted the event, along with co-owner Robert McGeary, setting the stage for a spectacular series honouring outstanding achievements across Victoria and Tasmania.

“At APT Travel Group, our agencies are at the heart of everything we do,” Ellis said. “This and every one of our VIP events are a chance for us to express our gratitude for their hard work and dedication. It’s the strength of our partnerships that drives our success, and we’re proud to celebrate that with them.”

Over the next five weeks, APT Travel Group will honour 61 Diamond agents and 137 Platinum agents.

Over the next five weeks, APT Travel Group will honour 61 Diamond agents (those with over $1 million in sales) and 137 Platinum agents (with sales exceeding $550,000) for their outstanding achievements in 2024.

Alongside these prestigious accolades, top performers will be recognised across additional categories, including Top Agency, Top Consultant, Hall of Fame, and Rising Star Agency.

This year, the company introduces two new award categories to further celebrate industry excellence:

  • The McGeary Club – A new VIP tier recognising agencies that surpassed $2m in sales in 2024. Comprising just seven agencies, this exclusive group will receive Diamond-level benefits, along with bespoke initiatives designed to support their unique business needs, reinforcing APT’s ongoing commitment to these valued partnerships.
  • The Million Dollar Club – This category honours individual consultants who achieved exceptional results, selling over $1M in APT, Travelmarvel, and Botanica products in 2024. Only eight consultants will be recognised in this elite group, each receiving a complimentary cabin on a 2025 cruise, with the opportunity to sail on APT and Travelmarvel products.
This year’s APT Travel Group award winners receive exceptional artworks from a partnership with Opportunities of Development through Art (ODA).

In a notable departure from tradition, this year’s award winners will not receive glass trophies. Instead, APT Travel Group has partnered with Opportunities of Development through Art (ODA) to present exceptional artworks as a meaningful and lasting recognition of their achievements, highlighting APT’s commitment to making a real difference through travel.

Since 2009, ODA has supported the education of over 1,450 children in rural Cambodia. The artworks presented to award winners not only serve as beautiful mementos but also symbolise APT’s continued partnership with ODA, a Signature and Insider Experience for APT and Travelmarvel guests.
