Aroya Cruises is returning to the Mediterranean this summer for its second season in the region, building on the success of its 2025 debut and reinforcing its presence across the regional and international markets.

Galataport Istanbul once again serves as Aroya’s Mediterranean homeport, with seven-night sailings across Türkiye, Greece and Egypt departing from one of the region’s most connected cities and offering guests a seamless gateway to the Eastern Mediterranean.

Ahead of the summer sailings, Aroya departs from Jeddah on 29 May 2026 on a special eight-night voyage to Istanbul. The itinerary includes calls at Sharm El Sheikh and Ain Sokhna in Egypt before transiting through the Suez Canal and continuing along Türkiye’s coastline with visits to Antalya and Bodrum ahead of arrival in Istanbul.

A defining highlight of this special voyage is the Suez Canal transit, offering guests the opportunity to sail through one of the world’s most iconic maritime passages and a historic gateway between the Red Sea and the Mediterranean.

The 2026 Mediterranean program features two main itineraries from Istanbul. Select sailings will include Türkiye and Greek Islands, featuring ports such as Bodrum, Rhodes, Mykonos, Piraeus for Athens and Souda Bay. Others combine Turkiye and Egypt, with calls along the Turkish coast including Marmaris, Bodrum, Kaş alongside Alexandria on Egypt’s Mediterranean coast.

Across these sailings, Aroya pairs sought-after regional ports with a distinctive onboard experience that makes time at sea an integral part of the holiday. From Arabian hospitality and diverse dining to entertainment, wellness, family-focused spaces and dedicated areas for children and teenagers, the ship is designed for families, couples and multi-generational groups.

Aroya Cruises’ return to the Mediterranean further expands its offering to regional and international travellers, including guests from Saudi Arabia, the GCC, Europe, CIS markets and beyond, with itineraries that bring together high-demand regional destinations with Aroya’s distinctly Arabian service and hospitality.

“Aroya’s return to the Mediterranean builds on the strong response to our first summer in the region and reflects the continued appeal of a cruise offering that brings together renowned destinations and a distinctly Arabian experience at sea,” Aroya Cruises Sture Myrmell said.

“With seven-night itineraries from Galataport Istanbul and a special Jeddah-to-Istanbul voyage through the Suez Canal, this season combines destination variety, ease of travel and the signature hospitality that defines AROYA. We look forward to welcoming guests on board this summer for a journey shaped by AROYA’s Remarkably Arabian service and onboard experience.”

All itineraries, schedules and ports of call are subject to change in accordance with operational, safety, weather, regulatory and governmental requirements.
