Aerolineas Argentinas has confirmed it will operate direct flights to Buenos Aires from Sydney from July 1, as exclusively revealed by Travel Today on Monday.

It will replace its three times weekly service via Auckland with non stops service to BA with frequencies rising to five weekly from December.
The carrier said New Zealand will be served “through agreements with other partner airlines”.
Aerolineas has long planned direct services from Sydney with the announcement coinciding with the withdrawal of Qantas from the route.
