Agents' chance to win Santa Monica getaway

Santa Monica Convention & Visitor’s Bureau (SMCVB) in partnership with Air New Zealand is giving travel agents the chance to win one of eight spots on a celebrity-hosted famil with official Santa Monica Ambassadors Luke Hines and Scott Gooding.

Hines and Gooding became household names when they were semi-finalists on Channel 7’s My Kitchen Rules, and have taken their laidback beach style and love of healthy food to Santa Monica.

Agents can enter by booking room nights in any Santa Monica hotel or by booking Air New Zealand operated services incorporating LAX between Australia and North America.

The incentive period will run for the month of August, with winners to depart for California on November 22.

The eight lucky winners will fly with Air New Zealand, and join Hines and Gooding in a quintessential Californian experience, including cycling the famous boardwalk, surfing beginner waves at the beach and enjoying fine dining at the renowned Santa Monica restaurant JiRaffe.

“Santa Monica is the ultimate outdoor activity destination – and we can’t wait to share our love for its health and fitness scene with the eight winners,” Hines said. “We look forward to embracing an active way of life under the Santa Monica sunshine.”

Gooding says that the active holiday will ensure they work up an appetite for plenty of clean eating.

“After exploring the world-class farmers’ market and cooking up a raw storm at M.A.K.E, we’ll take the group to some of Santa Monica’s stylish rooftop bars for a well-deserved cocktail,” Gooding said.
