Bad weather strikes US again

Bad weather strikes US again
By admin

Adverse weather conditions in the US continue to take their toll on travellers, with thousands of passengers flying into and out of the north east experiencing disruptions.

Within just two weeks of the chaos caused by Hurricane Sandy, travellers once again found themselves at the mercy of the elements as thousands of flights were grounded due to stormy conditions.

While the majority of US airlines are expected to resume their full schedules today, Qantas advised customers travelling to and from the US to refer to the flight status page of its website www.qantas.com.

The airline has extended its offer of fee-free changes to existing bookings for passengers booked to travel to or from affected areas from October 29 to November 9.
