Tourism Australia has announced the Best Jobs campaign winners, with six chosen from 330,000 applicants.

The 18 finalists spent the last week taking part in adventure, nature, food, photography and social media challenges to secure their place.

“The successful candidates each demonstrated incredible talent, energy and desire throughout the application process,” Tourism Australia chief Andrew McEvoy said.

McEvoy encouraged the 330,000 entrants to come to Australia on a working holiday and said that the tourism body has seen a spike of interest in the visa program.

"Importantly, the youth campaign that sits underneath this 'Best Jobs' competition is already delivering results,” he added.

The six job winners will start their jobs between August and December 2013 and are listed below.

Andrew Smith (USA):      Chief Funster (New South Wales)

Roberto Seba (Brazil):      Lifestyle Photographer (Melbourne, Victoria)

Allan Dixon (Ireland):       Outback Adventurer (Northern Territory):

Elisa Detrez (France):      Park Ranger (Queensland)

Rich Keam (England):      Taste Master (Western Australia)

A seventh job was offered by Virgin Australia, titled “High Flyer” and awarded to Cameron Ernst from the USA.
