APT expedition ship, Caledonia Sky, made its maiden visit to Sydney on Sunday as it completed a 25-day voyage from New Zealand.

The 110-passenger vessel is the main ship featured in APT's luxury small ship expedition cruises program which has been designed specifically for Australia and New Zealand.

Caledonia Sky will operate cruises in Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Kimberley coast and Japan.

APT acquired a near 50% stake in UK cruise firm Noble Caledonia last June, which owns Caledonia Sky and Island Sky.
