In the spirit of Halloween, Carnival Cruise Lines’ Australian-based ships will be treating – or tricking – guests to ‘Frightfully Fun’ celebrations on board.

Dressed up ghosts, witches and zombies of all ages on board the Carnival Legend and Carnival Spirit will deliver a night of frights, including Frightfully Fun trivia, face painting, a dress-up costume parade and spooky cocktails like Green Goblin and Vampire’s Kiss.

There will also be fun for the younger passengers, with maps provided to guide spooks to candy stations hidden around the ship, while a Halloween dance party will top off the fun with a hair-raising menu including Scary Cheesecake and RIP Chocolate Pumpkin Pate.

And for the adults keen to get into the spirit at home, Carnival has created a cocktail recipe for its Carnival Cruise Lines’ Witches Brew, which you can read below.

  • 40ml Bacardi white rum
  • 15ml Dekuper Razzamatazz (raspberry liqueur)
  • 90ml ginger ale

Combine all ingredients with a wedge of lime and serve over ice for a chilling sensation!
