China Southern Airlines has boosted checked luggage allowances for all passengers travelling overseas on CZ tickets issues in Australia on or after January 1.

Under the changes, first class passengers can check in three pieces weighing up to 32kg each, with business class passengers now allowed to check-in two pieces up to 32kg each and economy passengers allowed two pieces up to 23kg each.

Infants with no seat are allocated a 10kg luggage allowance.

Regional general manager Australia and New Zealand Henry He said the increased baggage allowance was "in line with the airline's commitment to offer competitive fares and benefits to Australian travellers".
