Creative expands China program

Creative Holidays has expanded its Hong Kong and China program for 2012, adding more regional product to cater for growing demand.
Managing director Paul McGrath revealed that sales for the operator's China itineraries had been "robust" on the back of the strong dollar, bolstered by improving air services.
"With access to China continuing to increase, visitors are starting to venture further into this unique country," he said.
"We see this as a strong growth segment, and in response have increased our property portfolio outside the traditional hotspots with new regional properties brochured for Guilin, Guangzhou, Chongqing and Hangzhou in 2012."
Hong Kong was also proving popular, according to McGrath, extending beyond the traditional stopover market to include families lured by Disneyland and travellers interested in weekend breaks and shopping.
The new program features more accommodation, sightseeing and touring options such as the six-day extended Shanghai and Beijing tour which departs Hong Kong, priced from $2762 per person.
