Explora hotel sets opening date

By admin

South American eco-adventure operator Explora will reopen its Hotel Salto Chico in Chile’s Patagonia region on February 23 following recent forest fires in Torres del Paine National Park.
Flames “miraculously” did not touch the property but smoke and ash damage means it will not re-open for another month, Explora chief executive Jesus Parrilla said
“Given permission to enter the park, a team of explora executives and damage assessment experts spent the last two weeks evaluating the extent of the fire damage and have decided that the hotel should remain closed until February 23, as we are temporarily unable to offer the high standard of service that our travellers expect, " he said.
