Jetstar will reintroduce services between Melbourne and Honolulu from December 15 while Bali and Phuket will see additional frequencies.

The carrier will operate three weekly A330 services from the Victorian capital to Hawaii with fares on sale today.

Fights were dropped in 2008 with passengers from Melbourne having to connect to Hawaii via Sydney.

Jetstar will also increase Sydney to Phuket services from three to four per week from December 15 with flights to Bali from Sydney and Melbourne rising to a daily schedule from the same date.
