Magellan Travel Group has expanded its network to 67 agents with six new retailers set to join on July 1.

The additions include one of Travellers Choice’s most successful agencies, Broadway Travel, which was co-founded by Suzanne Baker and the late Toni Chambers.

Other new members are Figtree Travel in Wollongong NSW, Melbourne-based corporate agency Lexus Travel, Trendsetter Travel Longueville and Lane Cove, NSW and a new Launceston branch of Andrew Jones Travel in Tasmania.

“This further strengthens our position as the leading travel group for independent, high achieving travel agencies in Australia,’ chief executive Andrew Macfarlane said.
