The challenge for the industry is… To understand that the human emotion of going on holiday and product delivery is intangible.

The things I like about my job are… Nothing is permanent, except change

And the frustrations… That many service providers do not really understand the wants and needs of the customer.

If I didn’t work in travel I would be… I would enjoy the leisurely and pampered life of a cat

Qantas or Virgin?… Qantas, but their domestic services MUST clamp down on cabin luggage regulations

My proudest moment was… Educating a major supplier in the wishes of customers

The naughtiest thing I ever did was… To encourage a group of tourist to try the local cuisine and told them it was something else

I try to relax by… Wine and dining

The thing I fear most in life… Losing my family

If I can I always try to avoid… Saying “No”.

I really wish I had… More hands and heads in order to do all the things at once

The best advice I’ve ever received was… Be yourself.

I don’t understand why… So many people at buffets or getting free food take more than they can consume

My greatest weakness is… Good food

And my greatest strength… Tact and diplomacy

If I was prime minister I would… Downsize the government

If I won $1 million on the lottery I would… Pay off my debts

If I could be someone else for one day I would be… The first emperor of China

I’ve always wanted to travel to… Anywhere in real style and luxury

My favourite holiday was… Anywhere but beaches. I love interacting with different cultures

Who would be your four best dinner partners… Queen Elizabeth I, Napoleon’s Josephine, Margaret Thatcher and Audrey Hepburn
