Topdeck has launched a 12-day Festive Escape trip departing December 21st.

The itinerary starts in London and travels through Germany, France, the Netherlands and Belgium with a Chrismas lunch in Paris and traditional Christmas market tours including gluhwein, hot mulled wine.

Prices start from $1775.

 

Qantas has extended its Select on Q-Eat pre-order meal service to business class passengers on flights from Hong Kong to Australia.

It will be available from Monday (June 24) on QF30, QF128 and QF98.

The service, which allows passengers to pre-order their meals between seven days and 12 hours before departure and offers a wider choice, is already available on flights from Singapore to Australia, between Australia, London and Dubai, Los Angeles to Australia and Dallas to Brisbane.

Qantas said the launch of the service in HK is "part of a progressive roll out of Select on Q-Eat across the Qantas international network".

 

Accor's Canberra hotels have recorded one of their busiest tourism weeks since 2011 thanks to the British Lions tour and Parliamentary sitting.

Mercure Canberra saw growth of 6.3% while Novotel Canverra witnessed 6.3% growth.

 

The number of passengers flying on domestic routes climbed almost 5% in April, latest government figures have shown.

A total of 4.8 million people travelled on scheduled services, up 4.1%, Revenue passenger kilometres climbed 4.1% with capacity rising 6.1%. It led to a dip in loads from 77.6% in April 2012 to 76%.
