More than a million people have viewed Air New Zealand's latest onboard safety video featuring adventurer Bear Grylls, the airline has revealed. In addition to the million views on YouTube, the video has had more than 390,000 hits on Chinese sites Youku.com.

 

Emirates' second daily Moscow service is now being operated by Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, following the airline's recent deployment of a daily Airbus A380 service on the route. The changes have increased capacity on the route by 46%.

 

Hotel firm Ibis has launched a new Sleep Art app which captures movements and sounds as you sleep, converting the data into a piece of art. The iPhone app is available to download for free.

 

Hertz Australia's On Demand car sharing service has released new iPhone and Android mobile apps enabling members to make, modify and cancel reservations on the go. The apps, which are free to download, show available cars, enable advance reservations and booking extensions.

 

Bangkok Airways has implemented Amadeus Dynamic Availability, providing Amadeus-connected agents worldwide access to real-time flight availability information and postings from the carrier's inventory system.

 

The Pullman Rail Journey between Chicago and New Orleans has joined Rail Plus' program of rail experiences, priced from $516 per person.

 

Heron Island has welcomed the start of QantasLink's eight times weekly direct return service from Sydney to Gladstone today as a boost for tourism to the destination on the Great Barrier Reef. Gladstone is the jumping off point for Heron Island with the new service to add almost 1,200 seats per week to the route.
