Japan Airlines will expand its Brazilian presence with a new codeshare deal with American Airlines, effective January 27.

The agreement will see JAL add Rio de Janeiro to its international network and increase the number of codeshare flights to and from Sao Paolo.

French Travel Connection is offering savings of up to $880 per cabin on a range of crewed canal barges departing in July, August and October when booked by April 15.

 

A pricing overhaul has seen fares on Greyhound Australia fall by up to a third in Far North Queensland, according to the coach operator. The company said it will boost tourism in the upcoming quiet season.

Greyhound yield manager Helen Beaston said: "We have significantly rationalised our pricing structure to reflect passenger demands for affordable travel all along the coast. These price cuts will be a particular boon for Queensland tourist centres feeling the impact of the global economic downturn and high Australian dollar."
