Teeing off this summer, Qantas Golf Club is the latest innovation launched for loyal frequent flyer members to earn Qantas Points.

The new online community provides the ability to earn Qantas Points for playing golf, the ability to book tee times online, exclusive invitations to attend golf events and tournaments, and access to travel packages to visit some of the world’s best courses.

Membership is open to all Qantas Frequent Flyer members, with a choice of a basic, free membership or premium membership that includes the ability to obtain an official Golf Australia handicap.

Tapping into the programs some 10 million members, many of who have indicated they are keen golfers, Qantas Loyalty chief executive officer Lesley Grant expects the program to be a popular new way to earn points.

“Qantas Golf Club gives Qantas Frequent Flyers the opportunity to join this one club but access many courses, as well as a range of other golfing activities,” Grant said.

Endorsing the new program, Australian golf legend and Qantas Ambassador Greg Norman said "Qantas Golf Club is an incredible value-add to the frequent flyer program, providing the ability to play a diverse and varying network of courses which is a fantastic opportunity for all golf fans."

Qantas Frequent Flyers who register their interest at qantasgolfclub.com.au and sign up for a premium membership, will receive 5,000 bonus Qantas Points.

Qantas Golf Club adds to the Qantas Loyalty portfolio, including Qantas Cash prepaid travel card, Aquire the new loyalty program for small and medium enterprises, and Qantas epiQure the community for Qantas Frequent Flyers with an interest in food and win
