Cox and Kings Australia chief executive Steve Reynolds will step down in June with the company’s New Zealand head, Greg Osborne, set to take over.

Reynolds has spent more than 10 years with Tempo Holidays and latterly with Cox and Kings which acquired Melbourne-based Tempo in 2008.

In an email to the industry this morning, Reynolds said he has decided to “move on to take up a new challenge”.

He will work with Osborne over the next two months ahead of a formal leaving date on June 14.

“I leave the company in good shape and well positioned for the future,” Reynolds said. “It is managed by an extremely professional and capable management team and supported by a dedicated and knowledgeable staff.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank you very much for all your support and partnership.”

He added: “It has been both a pleasure and a privilege to work with you during this time and I very much appreciate your past and continued support for the Australian brand; Tempo Holidays, Bentours, Cox and Kings and Explore Worldwide.”
