Skyscanner launches new hotel app

By admin

Skyscanner has launched a new Hotels app on the iOS platform that offers users an effective and efficient way to search, compare and book hotels.

The app showcases hundreds of thousands of hotels across the globe for users to choose from, showing unbiased results with the best rates.

Dave Boyte, marketing manager for Australia and New Zealand explained “Often travellers may spend longer researching the perfect hotel than the actual length of their trip,” The Skyscanner Hotels app aims to conveniently gather all the tools in one place to help users make a confident choice.

With Skyscanner’s assistive search function, the Hotel app puts hotel photos at the centre of the app’s comparison feature making it easy to swipe through images without having to leave the results page.

The app also offers a range of tools that can add to a traveller’s decision making process. These include a map view that shows lodging options by location and points of interest, a favourites feature allowing users to save options for a later decision, a side-by-side comparison component to see how each accommodation measures up and live room availability updates.
