Tourism NT makes play for tennis fans
By admin

Tourism NT has partnered with Qantas Holidays to launch a three week campaign to lure viewers of the Australian Open Tennis Championships to the Northern Territory.

A 15-second television commercial featuring various Qantas Holidays destinations in the Red Centre, Kakadu and Darwin will be aired during breaks in tennis matches, with a ball that zooms across the screen into the NT after an on-court serve.

The tourism body is hopeful the TVC will bring members of the tournament's audience up north during February and March.

Additional TVCs will be screened at Moonlight Cinemas, bolstered by digital advertising on channels including TripAdvisor, Facebook and YouTube along with radio advertising during traffic reports.
