Accor’s Peppers brand unveiled in Gladstone with Yaralla Sports Club partnership
Edited by Travel Weekly

Accor has collaborated with Yaralla Sports Club to unveil Peppers Gladstone, the region’s first five-star hotel and the first new-build hotel to open in the region in over a decade.

“The debut of Peppers Gladstone is a proud moment for Accor as it brings a new level of hospitality to Central Queensland,” Accor Pacific COO PM&E, Adrian Williams, said.

“This hotel is a unique addition to our premium brand portfolio and exemplifies our commitment to creating extraordinary guest experiences, blending Peppers’ signature style with the charm of Gladstone.”

Those first to book at the Central Queensland hotel will receive an opening special offer from $200 per night – a saving of 15 per cent.

The 32-room Peppers Gladstone complements the current 60-room Mantra Gladstone within the Yaralla Sports Club premises, functioning under a dual-brand hotel strategy.

Yaralla Sports Club, Chief Executive Officer, Will Schroeder, said: “The opening of Peppers Gladstone is an exciting moment for our region. Together with Accor, we’re delivering a world-class accommodation option that’s set to become the ultimate destination for visitors, whether they’re here for business, a special event, or to explore our beautiful coastline.”

Designed by BSPN Architects and constructed by Mettle Projects, Peppers Gladstone offers a range of accommodation options, from King Studio rooms to Superior two-bedroom apartments. All guestrooms feature fully equipped kitchens, king-sized beds, large televisions with Chromecast capabilities, and a complimentary non-alcoholic minibar. Every room has been carefully curated to reflect the surrounding landscapes – from the bush to the city, lush rainforests, and breathtaking coastline.

Guests can also enjoy the hotel’s high-end amenities, including a heated outdoor swimming pool, complimentary drinks at the pool deck bar (during select hours), exclusive access to Peppers’ eight-seater cinema room, a well-appointed gym, secure undercover parking, Wi-Fi, and a choice of two onsite restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The member’s lounge provides a space for a hot or cold beverage.

The fusion of Peppers Gladstone and Mantra Gladstone allows the property to accommodate over 150 guests, enhancing the city’s ability to host small to large-scale meetings, expos and weddings within its versatile conference spaces.

Located just minutes from the CBD, Peppers Gladstone offers an advantageous location adjoining the Yaralla Sports Club, making it even more appealing for guests.

Situated on Queensland’s Capricorn Coast, part of the Southern Great Barrier Reef region, Peppers Gladstone provides leisure travellers with a contemporary base before or after any tours to the reef.
