Air Canada ups commission

????????????????????????????????????

Air Canada has announced that between September 14 and December 31 2015 it is more than doubling its travel agent commission on Business Class published airfares sold in Australia on its services from Sydney to Canada and the US.

Air Canada’s Special Commission Promotion will see travel agents earn a base commission of 7% – a huge jump from the airline’s standard 3% base commission – each time they book and ticket a Business Class airfare for departures before December 31 2015.

In addition, agents will earn 7% commission on the Business Class ticket’s associated YQ fuel surcharge.

The increased commission level is valid for one-way and round-trip Business Class itineraries kicking off in Australia for travel to Canada and the Unites States on services operated by Air Canada.

General manager for Australia and New Zealand Paul McLean said the Special Commission Promotion recognises Australian travel agents’ extraordinary support during 2015.

“The strength and depth of the relationship Air Canada enjoys with its Australian travel industry partners has given us the opportunity to expand our local operation in mid-2016 by launching Brisbane-Vancouver services using our 787-8 Dreamliners and bringing our Premium Economy product to this market,” McLean said.

Air Canada’s International Business Class offers passengers fully lie-flat beds, more than 600 hours of in-flight entertainment and access to Maple Leaf Lounges and concierge services.

International Business Class is available on all of Air Canada’s daily non-stop flights from Sydney to Vancouver and on to Toronto. Business Class passengers can also take advantage of smooth connections to more than 60 destinations in Canada and 52 destinations in the United States.
