Air New Zealand is giving Australian customers the opportunity to tick travel locations off their itineraries for less in 2024, with its New Year sale.

From today, Australian customers will be able to jump on board Air New Zealand flights from Sydney to Auckland from as little as $257 one way, or even to popular holiday spot Queenstown for $267.

Aussies can also fly to the US with Air New Zealand with a quick stop over in Auckland. Flights from Sydney to Los Angeles or San Francisco start at $1,299 or $1,399 return respectively and Melburnians can catch a return trip to Los Angeles for as little as $1,444 return.

Air New Zealand general manager for Australia Kathryn O’Brien said now is the perfect time for those with a New Year’s resolution to travel more and snap up affordable fares.

“Aussies are a travel hungry bunch and we know there’s no better way to start your year than with getting travel booked in to look forward to. Whether looking for a quick jump across the ditch for a weekend in New Zealand or wanting to explore destinations further afield in the US, we have a huge number of low fares available for Australians,” O’Brien said.

“With more flights across the Tasman than any other airline, Air New Zealand gives Aussies plenty of choice when it comes to exploring nearby destinations. Customers travelling with Air New Zealand can expect exceptional service, amazing New Zealand food and beverage onboard, and to experience the famous Kiwi ‘manaaki’ (care).

“We expect sale fares will be snapped up swiftly so recommend getting in quickly to secure low fares for travel this year. We look forward to welcoming even more Aussie customers on board with Air New Zealand in 2024.”

Air New Zealand’s sale starts today until 23:59 Friday 12 January for New Zealand destinations and until Wednesday 17 January for US destinations, unless sold out prior.
