Air Tickets new website up and running

Airfare distribution and ticketing services provider Air Tickets has renovated its website, adding new functionality to make travel agents’ lives even easier.

The website is designed to operate across desktop, mobile and tablet devices and has improved fare prices, which are displayed inclusive of indicative taxes so the customer can be quoted the approximate price efficiently. It also has an Australia-first offering, with a self-described shopping function while viewing fares.

It has also introduced customer solutions – connecting SmartFares with the GDS to provide real time shopping options for a specific airfare.

“The new site is a reinforcement of our continuing investment in future infrastructure for the benefit of the agents. This enhanced redesign is specifically crafted to drive greater efficiencies and ease of use for the agents to benefit their work practices and reduce their workload overall,” General Manager of Air Tickets Russell Cartstensen said.

“It’s all about being best-in-market and giving our agents access to air tickets quickly, correctly and at the right price,” he added.
