Airbnb offers Spice Girls fanatics the chance to stay in the original ‘Spice Bus’

For those travellers who have songs like “Wannabe” and “Stop” at the top of their Spotify playlist, Airbnb is now offering them another unique way to reminisce about 90s pop group the Spice Girls.

The original ‘Spice Bus’ that fans will know and love from 1997 movie Spice World has made its way onto the home sharing platform, but with an interior makeover.

“Working with some incredible designers, we’ve turned it into accommodation so you can stay the night and live out every fan’s wildest dreams,” according to the property listing.

“This is the first time the bus has ever been available to stay on.”

The outside of the bus looks exactly as it did in the Spice World movie, with its iconic Union Jack-painted exterior.

Inside, guests will have the run of both floors, which have been renovated with little nods to each of the Spice Girls and some fairly bold interiors. The bus can sleep up to three people, with two sharing a double bed and one on a single day bed.

There are no bathroom facilities on the bus itself, so a temporary bathroom will be located a few steps from the bus for private use.

The catch is that the bus is only available on Airbnb for two nights in June, and will be located at Wembley Park in London.
