All the new appointments at Accor

Accor has announced changes to its senior operations leadership team which will bring increased expertise and focus to Accor’s operations across Australia, New Zealand, French Polynesia and Fiji.

Scott Boyes – Senior vice president hotel operations, Pacific North.

Boyes will be responsible for hotels under management agreements in the newly designated Pacific North region, which will include New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory, Queensland and Northern Territory. He will lead operational excellence for Accor’s premium, midscale and economy hotels in the north of the Pacific. Having worked in Accor operations for 28 years with his strong expertise in operations and knowledge of the North Pacific region, Boyes will bring significant experience to the role.

Adrian Williams – Senior vice president hotel operations, Pacific South.

Williams will be responsible for Accor’s premium, midscale and economy hotels in the newly designated Pacific South region, which will include Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia, Western Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and French Polynesia.  A new role of vice president for New Zealand and Fiji has been created which will report into Williams and an appointment will be announced in the New Year. Beginning his hospitality career at Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel in Canada and now holding over 30 years of hotel operations and senior leadership experience, Williams will be a major asset in the new role.

Danesh Bamji – Vice president franchise, Pacific.

Bamji will be responsible for leveraging Accor’s brand, marketing, sales, customer engagement, digital and loyalty strategies as well as the delivery of Accor’s systems, tools and resources developed for franchisees to optimise their hotel’s revenue performance and profitability. He will lead a team focused on supporting franchise owners to accomplish superior performance and operational excellence in their hotels. Bamji’s relationship-focused approach combines property, operations and corporate experience will serve him well as he takes on this important role.

Marcus Hanna – Vice president operations, Pacific.

Hanna will provide dedicated support for the Sofitel, MGaller and Emblem hotels and restaurants within the Pacific region. Having over 18 years of experience with Accor, out of which twelve of those years were spent in luxury hotels in Melbourne, Sydney, London, San Francisco and Singapore to name a few, Hanna brings a wealth of industry savoir-faire to the position.
