Here is everything you need to know about White Bay Cruise Terminal, one of two dedicated cruise passenger terminals in Sydney Harbour.

    Entering the cruise terminal

The terminal is located at James Craig Rd, Rozelle, with easy road access via The Crescent / James Craig Road. Pedestrians and cyclists are allowed to enter the terminal via the Robert Street gate on both ship days and non-ship days. There are also taxi pick-up/drop-off areas located right outside the cruise terminal.

    Exiting the cruise terminal

Ground staff can assist you to the taxi terminal or coach transfers to the airport. If travellers have booked a limousine or private car, they will be met outside the front of the terminal. They just need to make sure to have the contact details of the company and advise them to access the terminal by taking James Craig Road via The Crescent and not by Robert Street.

Pick up/drop off and parking options

A private pick up and drop off area is located directly outside the cruise terminal. Due to security reasons, people are not permitted to leave their vehicles and must only be used to collect or drop off passengers.

There is no long-term vehicle parking at the cruise terminal, however, there is a carpark designated for short stay pick up only. To help keep this zone congestion free and to ensure the precinct operates safe and efficiently, vehicles may be parked for a maximum of 15 mins.

    Arrival and departure procedures

Online check in is available and cruise companies provide a designated check in time for each departure. It is important to remind passengers to drop off bags at the bag drop off and be sure to be at the White Bay Cruise Terminal an hour before the designated departure time.

Security screening procedures include a standard metal detector and x-ray screening. Security personnel will make the process as easy and convenient as possible.

Sydney Destination Ambassadors will be able for international arrivals, to provide you any local information you might need.

Here is a list of items that need to be confirmed with the cruise line before bringing them.
