APT has launched its Asia Adventures for 2025, including new luxury holidays in India, Sri Lanka and Japan.

Five new tours lead guests to the highlights of India, including a seven-night cruise along the rarely travelled Lower Ganges aboard the Ganges Voyager.

Further south, Sri Lanka’s greatest destinations are revealed on a new 15-day Land Journey and three-day Yala National Park extension.

“We are thrilled with the release of our APT Asia 2025 program as there are so many new and wonderful experiences we’re able to offer guests for the first time,” APT’s Asia Product Manager, Brett Lemish said.

“From the enchanting journey along the Lower Ganges to the immersive experiences in Japan and Sri Lanka, every moment has been meticulously curated to create unforgettable memories.”

Flagship journey to Japan

Meanwhile while APT’s touring in Japan has been broadened with a unique 18-day holiday.

The already popular 12-day Enchanting Japan journey remains the flagship of APT’s Asia holidays. It guides guests through megacities and regional hubs including a three-night stay in Tokyo, four nights in Kyoto and stays in Hakone, Takayama and Kanazawa. Prices start at $12,995pp, twin share, with savings up to $1,800 per couple.

On the new 18-day Japan Land of Wonders holiday guests take a deep dive into the nation with two nights in Karuizawa, Matsumoto, Takayama, Osaka and Nara joining stays in Tokyo, Kyoto and Hakone. From $17,995pp per person, twin share, with savings up to $2,000 per couple.

Among the unique experiences included are a calligraphy lesson, a day trip to Hiroshima, a walk along the historic Nakasendo trail and visits to sake and miso breweries, a wasabi farm and the Jigokudani Monkey Park – home to the iconic ‘snow monkeys’.

Impressions of South Korea unveils the best of the nation over 10 days. Historic sites and culinary delights are among the key attractions, including time at Yongin’s Korean Folk Village. Plus there is kimchi and bibimbap cooking lessons. Prices start from $9,995pp, twin share, with savings up to $1,800 per couple.

The new 15-day Sri Lanka Unveiled holiday visits six World Heritage Sites alongside comprehensive explorations of Colombo and Kandy. Add to that safaris in two of the nation’s finest national parks and luxurious stays in lush forests and pristine beachside locations. From $8,995 per person, twin share, including savings up to $1,800 per couple.

India’s icons and hidden gems

Featured in the new India holidays is the 17-day Golden Triangle, Kolkata and Lower Ganges Cruise journey, an in-depth exploration of India’s icons and hidden gems.

Key sights include Delhi, Agra and Jaipur before heading off for two nights in Kolkata. Then it’s a seven-night cruise aboard the Ganges Voyager, which boasts the highest staff-to-guest ratio on the Lower Ganges. It’s the most luxurious cruise ship on the river.

The cruise showcases a unique part of India less travelled, stopping off at enthralling destinations including Kalna, Matiari, Murshidabad and Chandannagar. From $15,895pp, twin share, including savings up to $2,600 per couple.
