APT has launched a fully chartered, ultra-luxury cruise aboard the Seabourne Venture taking guests to see the wonders of the Antarctic Peninsula in 2026.

The once-in-a-lifetime cruise headlines APT’s launch of its 2026 Antarctica and South America journeys, with a broad range of new fully escorted tour combinations available across South America.

The 10-night cruise takes guests on a guided flexible itinerary with an expert Expedition Team leading Zodiac adventures and shore excursions that reveal the continent’s incredible landscapes, ice structures, wildlife, and historic sites.

The purpose-built Seabourne Venture boasts exceptional dining experiences, diverse wellness spaces, and all-veranda, all ocean-front suites. The cruise forms part of the 15-day Antarctic Voyage tour, which is bookended by a pair of two-night stays in the Argentine capital of Buenos Aires and also includes an exploration of Tierra del Fuego National Park near Ushuaia.

The journey is available form $20,995 per person, twin share in a Veranda suite, including savings of up to $4,800 per pair. Guests booking suite upgrades can get additional savings, including free Business Class flights for selected suites.

Guests can also extend their holiday on the 29-day Antarctic Voyage with South American Discovery, which is offered at $34,695 per person per twin-share. Following stays in Peru’s Lima and the Sacred Valley, guests travel to the New World Wonder of Machu Picchu before stays in Cusco, Lima, and Buenos Aires.

After the Antarctic Voyage, they return to Buenos Aires for a further two nights, followed by a two-night stay at the Gran Melia Iguazu, the only hotel within Iguazu National Park, where they go on a sommelier-led wine tasting. Guests also visit Iguazu Falls from both sides of the Argentina-Brazil border, finishing the tour with three nights in Rio de Janeiro.

The 20-day Antarctic Voyage with Brazil Highlights ($27,795 per person, twin share, including applicable savings) follows the same itinerary from Buenos Aires to Rio de Janeiro, while the 18-day Antarctic Voyage with Chile combines the Seabourne cruise and Buenos Aires stays with three nights in Santiago and a visit to the World Heritage-listed city of Valparaiso.

Guests can also choose to set out on the 36-day Antarctic Voyage with South America and Galapagos Islands tour. A night in Guayaquil prepares guests for a three-night Galapagos cruise aboard the brand-new, luxurious MC Hermes, delighting in a near one-to-one crew-to-guest ratio.

Naturalist guides lead daily adventures through the archipelago’s rich ecosystems before a return flight to the mainland and three-night stay in the Ecuadorian capital of Quito. The South American Discovery from Lime to Rio de Janeiro rounds out the comprehensive holiday. The journey is on offer from $55,995 per person, twin share, including applicable savings.

Product manager, Kelly D’Aucourt, says the broad range of tours provide guests with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

“We are thrilled to launch our full program of land touring through South America in conjunction with the Antarctica expedition cruise on board ultra-luxe Seabourn Venture,” D’Aucourt said.

“Our comprehensive and varied itineraries will allow our guests to discover so much of the diversity of South America, alongside the magical and unique wilderness of Antarctica.

“This adventure, escorted by our dedicated APT Tour Director and Seabourn Venture’s expert Expedition Team, is a trip not to be missed.”
