In the past 6 months of 2023, ATAS Accredited Travel Businesses have called on the compliance team at AFTA for expert support to resolve more customer disputes than for the entirety of 2022.

At the current rate, the ATAS compliance team will triple the number of disputes resolved this year compared to the 12 months prior.

For the year to date, ATAS Accredited Businesses have contacted the compliance team 76 times for dispute resolution guidance, compared with 51 times in 2022.

Only ATAS Accredited Businesses have access to the comprehensive 3 step dispute resolution guidance and support available from the expert ATAS compliance team.

A variety of ATAS Accredited businesses have reached out with unique problems that have been serviced by the compliance team

“As a boutique family owned and run agency like ours the support we receive from ATAS Accreditation allows us to maintain the highest standards of service for our clients,” Gianni Vitellone from Pronto Travel said.

“Their support with queries and any potential dispute resolution absolutely justifies our continual renewal of our accreditation year on year. We very much appreciate it.”

Similarly, Christian Blondeau from France at Leisure added to Vitellone’s sentiment: “The ATAS team’s exceptional support, unwavering expertise, and invaluable guidance have been the cornerstone of our success in resolving a crucial issue concerning booking terms and conditions, including a Cruise cancellation.

“As an ATAS Accredited Business, we have consistently relied upon their unparalleled assistance, particularly during the challenging times of the pandemic, as we navigated the process of revising our booking policies and business T & Cs.”

Sharon Jones from Helloworld Travel Riverlink Ipswich added: “The ATAS team’s guidance and assistance at a time when I felt I was on my own with a cruise issue was amazing.”

Jennifer Franceschi at Kings Tours & Travel concluded: “What truly sets ATAS apart is their unwavering commitment to their members’ success. They provided continuous support, addressing my questions and concerns with the utmost diligence. Their guidance extended beyond advice, as they actively worked alongside me, lending their expertise to help me make informed decisions throughout the resolution process.

“ATAS Accreditation truly exemplifies the importance of industry collaboration and collective empowerment. I wholeheartedly recommend ATAS to any travel and assistance professional seeking unparalleled support, expertise, and guidance.”
